Inspired by Composer John Debney's Oscar Nominated score to THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST. Debney created an epic concerto that has been performed around the world. The concert, like the film, depicts the last 12 hours of Jesus of Nazareth, on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem. For the first time, and in honor of the 15 year anniversary of The Passion of The Christ, the concert is available on-demand and on DVD. This epic performance was the first orchestral concert performance in over 40 years at the world famous Mosque - Cathedral of Cordoba, Spain. Performance features the Orchestra of Cordoba, the Ziryab Choir, soloists Maria Alonso and Juan Luque and from the Oscar-nominated score: soloists and lyricist Lisbeth Scott and world wind player Pedro Eustache under the direction of conductor Kevin Kaska. The DVD includes extended interviews with John Debney, Lisbeth Scott and Pedro Eustache. When you purchase the DVD, you will also automatically receive a link to a digital download of the concert and interviews.
